Lori Lockyer, MLIS PhD, is director of Education Research, PICEPS Consultants, Inc.  In addition, Dr Lockyer is Associate Director of the Digital Media Centre and a Senior Lecturer in information and communications technologies within the Faculty of Education at the University of Wollongong.  Her research interests focus on the use of information and communication technologies for professional education, and for health education and heath service initiatives. Lori has won a number of awards related to her research on the use of online collaboration to support learning outcomes. Lori is an editorial board member of the Australian Journal of Educational Technology, International Journal of Learning Technology, and the Journal of Interactive Learning Research.  Dr Lockyer is a Program Committee Member for the annual Ed-Media conference.  She consults to private and public organizations in Australia and Canada.
