Cathy Cameron, MHSc is a project manager with PICEPS, Consultants Inc.She earned a masters degree in health promotion from the University of Toronto.Ms. Cameron has 10 years of work experience coordinating health services research and evaluation studies of national, provincial and community-based programs.She has previously worked as a Research Coordinator for the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences and as a Research Associate for the Center for Behavioral Research and Program Evaluation at the National Cancer Institute of Canada.She has in-depth experience in the utilization of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. She has coordinated numerous research and evaluation projects including focus groups with long-term breast cancer survivors exploring the long-term impacts of breast cancer and its treatment, a study exploring the context of care and financial implications for women diagnosed with breast cancer who are living in a low-income situation and a study exploring womens reactions to and recommendations for an organized cervical screening program. Ms Cameron contributes to the scientific and professional peer-reviewed literature on a range of topics including health services delivery and the experiences of cancer patients and presents at conferences and workshops. She is a member of the Research and Evaluation Committee at Wellspring, and holds a membership in the Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology.
