Stasey Tobin, MHScis a project manager with PICEPS, Consultants Inc.  She earned a master’s degree in Health Sciences, specializing in community nutrition, from the University of Toronto.  During the past 12 years she has managed various social science research and evaluation studies ranging in scope from a national, provincial and community-based focus.  Ms. Tobin's professional experiences have spanned various employment environments as either a Research Associate, Coordinator or Manager of various projects at the University of Toronto, Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, National Cancer Institute of Canada, various Ontario Public Health Departments, Ontario hospitals and non-profit organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society and the Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  She has in-depth experience in the utilization of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.  Ms. Tobin contributes to the scientific and professional peer-reviewed literature and presents at conferences and workshops in the following areas: women’s experiences with breast cancer – psychosocial issues from diagnosis through survivorship, including decision-making, advocacy, relationships with physicians, familial experiences; food security, nutrition and cancer, measurement of food consumption behaviours; health promotion, community action, public health and integrated health care systems; and health care policy and the organization of health services delivery.
